Hi

In Windows 8.1 ,I can find  Fingerprint at the Start screen,But In Windows Server 2012 R2 I canfind it.

In Windows Server 2012 R2, Navigate to PC Settings, select Accounts, and select Sign-in options, Thre is only change pass word options.

I have already modify the  Group Policyand intsall WBF-supported fingerprint reader(and its associated driver)

My WBF-supported fingerprint reader work very well in windows server 2012.

Hi,

As I know, the fingerprint option in PC Settings will only be visible if the WBF supported fingerprint reader (driver) has been correctly installed on the PC,  I recommend you manually look for the latest driver from the device manufacture webiste. Please also make sure Windows Biometric Service  in started "Automatic".

And I noticed a sentence in Whats New in Biometrics in Windows 8.1.

Connected domain accounts are different from connected accounts for fingerprint-based authentication. During fingerprint registration, Windows only enables fingerprint sign-in for the domain account and not the connected Microsoft account.
